As part of UBC’s ongoing efforts to increase the benefits for Postdoctoral Fellows (PDFs), the Postdoctoral Fellows Office (PDFO) is pleased to announce the 2018 Killam Postdoctoral Fellow Research Prize, an opportunity to recognize and reward UBC’s postdocs. The Killam PDF Research Prize is funded by the generous donation of Izaak Walton Killam and his wife, Dorothy Johnston Killam, who together created the Killam trusts.
This initiative clearly demonstrates UBC’s recognition of the critical role played by PDFs in advancing the quality and excellence of our research.
Application instructions and forms can be found on the PDFO website: https://www.postdocs.ubc.ca/award/killam-postdoctoral-fellow-research-prize.
Please note that applications are due internally in the Faculty of education by 12:00 pm, November 15th. Only one candidate may be forwarded by the Faculty of Education. If more than one candidate applies at the internal deadline, a cross-Faculty committee will be struck to adjudicate the files and select the Faculty candidate.
Please take special note of the eligibility criteria and email a complete digital copy of the application package (including the single signed nomination letter and the two support letters) by 12:00 pm, November 15th to Maureen Collins (maureen.collins@ubc.ca).
