Scarfe Foyer and Scarfe 100
The Faculty’s anniversary is an opportunity to strengthen relations with its friends and partners, including the Musqueam First Nations Band on whose traditional territory the Faculty’s buildings reside. To help symbolize this relationship, the Faculty has commissioned three significant works of First Nations art for the Scarfe Building the installation of which will be celebrated and honoured at this event.
The installation will be followed by poetic, dramatic and choral vignettes embracing issues of social justice, diversity and global citizenship. These performances will be led by the Education faculty members: George Belliveau, Lynn Fels, Scott Goble and Carl Leggo. There will be an exhibition of Emeriti artwork in the foyer as well.
