Complexity Science and Educational Research 2007 Conference

The purpose of the conference is to foster a better understanding of complexity science as it relates to the human sciences in general and to educational research in particular. The aims of the conference are as follows:

- to study the phenomenon of complex emergence, in part through engagement in topics of shared interest and in part through meeting structures that are intended to support the emergence of collective possibilities;
- in the process, to push out the boundaries of what we know;
-to take further steps in the establishment of an institute that is intended to support the efforts of educational researchers whose work is informed and/or oriented by complexity science.
