About FoE

The Faculty of Education at UBC has served the international education community through leadership in research, service, and advocacy for more than 50 years. One of the leading faculties of education in the world, the FoE prepares professionals for practice in a wide range of education-related fields, from preschool through adulthood. The FoE prepares more than forty-five per cent of the elementary teachers, the majority of secondary teachers, and a significant proportion of the special needs teachers, counsellors, school administrators, school psychologists, vocational rehabilitation counsellors, and First Nations teachers in British Columbia.
