Sylvia Kind is a Ph.D. student in Art Education at UBC. She has taught art to children and adults for over 15 years and has taught in the Montessori School system. She currently teaches art courses for pre-service and practicing teachers at UBC at the same time as trying to establish herself as a textile/fiber artist. She is currently exploring, through her studio practices, the relationships of pedagogy and experiences of loss. |
