Our Mandate:
- To represent the voice of graduate students in the Faculty of Education
- To advocate for graduate students around issues of equity, access and quality
- To ensure a robust flow of communication between graduate students and the Facutly of Education
- To support graduate students in all aspects of their graduate experience
We work towards these goals by:
- sitting on and contributing to various committees within the Faculty of Education
- attending meetings, seminars, focus groups
- engaging in discussions with graduate students during pertinent decision making processes
- communicating to graduate students about about significant changes that occur in the Faculty and University
- organizing inter-departmental events
- working to create resources that support graduate students
The GSFE Council consists of:
- 6 graduate students, one representing each of the six units within the Faculty of Education
- 1 graduate student, who acts as the coordinator
