The Tyee profiled Dr. Jo-Ann Archibald, a recently retired UBC education professor, who dedicated her career to including Indigenous culture into the school curriculum.
She discussed her work saying “I helped to establish some new Indigenous methodology and education courses for masters and doctoral students, and put together a proposal for a new masters in Indigenous knowledge, and [a] doctoral program in Indigenous education, which I hope is still working its way through being approved.”
