This year, Internationalization Learning Day will be held at both UBC-Vancouver and UBC-Okanagan with the option of attending at either campus.
Dynamic & thought-provoking sessions will focus on transformative, global student learning experiences, and will feature:
- A Keynote Address by Dr. William Pinar, Professor and Canada Research Chair in Curriculum and Pedagogy, Faculty of Education, UBC, on the theory and significance of internationalizing the curriculum, teaching and learning (both campuses)
- Interactive, facilitated workshops developed in close collaboration with faculty, practitioners, students and curriculum development experts from the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT) (workshop leaders will vary between campuses)
Further session details will be available shortly.
An annual event hosted by the Office of the Vice-Provost, International, the UBC Internationalization Learning Day is an opportunity to showcase collaborative and innovative initiatives supporting the internationalization of research, teaching and learning, and community engagement across both UBC campuses.
