SSHRC’s current Imagining Canada’s Future initiative, which highlights advances in the social sciences and humanities that address Canada’s societal challenges and opportunities, has generated a number of summary reports. These summary reports, on topics as diverse as new ways of learning in higher education, the impacts of our quest for new energy, the experiences and aspirations of Aboriginal peoples, and knowledge necessary for an interconnected world, are available on SSHRC’s website.
Presented along side these summary reports are project reports funded through SSHRC Knowledge Synthesis Grants program that directly contributed to the summary reports, including a report by Drs. Alison Taylor and Shauna Butterwick in Educational Studies (EDST) on their project, “Community Service-Learning (CSL) in Canadian Higher Education”.
To view the Imagining Canada’s Future summary reports and the SSHRC Knowledge Synthesis projects that informed them, visit SSHRC’s Imagining Canada’s Future page, click the Learn More link under the each theme, and then click Summary Reports in the menu to the right.
