The first public lecture in our Summer Noted Scholar series was an overwhelming success. On July 12, 2017, Dr. Jonathan Weiss of York University presented to a full house at the Pacific Autism Family Centre regarding the increasing importance of community interventions in order to better support individuals with autism that may be struggling from anxiety, anger, and/or depression. His lecture was engaging and empowering, and left the audience with much food for thought. Thank you very much to Dr. Weiss for sharing his insights with our community.
