The In/Relation team is seeking undergraduate students to participate in a focus group regarding your experiences learning Indigenous topics in the classroom. Undergraduates who are international students or any undergraduate interested in this project are encouraged to RSVP as this is a great opportunity to contribute your voice to research being done on campus. No prior knowledge of First Nations and Indigenous studies is necessary to participate, but if you have this knowledge or perspective, we also encourage you to attend. We are mostly looking for undergraduates with a willingness to share thoughts and opinions.
Free pizza will be provided at the event for all attendees. To RSVP, please email your name, phone number, and program to email@example.com
Intended Audience: any undergraduate student enrolled at UBC Vancouver (e.g. international undergraduates, undergraduates from international pathways, Indigenous undergraduates, undergraduate student leaders who work with international students)
This focus group is for the In/Relations project, a partnership between Indigenous Initiatives at the Centre for Teaching, Learning, and Technology (CTLT), the First Nations and Indigenous Studies Program, and Global Campus Initiatives. This research will contribute to the creation of educational resources to support these teaching and learning goals.
This is a UBC study, and the Principal Investigator is Dr Daniel Justice (firstname.lastname@example.org). If you have any questions about this project, would like further information, or to provide feedback, you may also contact the Primary Contact for this project, Janey Lew, by phone at (604) 827-4398 or by email at email@example.com. Thank you for your consideration. We greatly appreciate your support with this project.
