Reconciliation is a gift that was given to all of us through the courage and resilience of Residential School Survivors and provides Canada with an opportunity to heal as a nation. At the heart of Truth and Reconciliation is education, placing schools and post-secondary institutions in position of both responsibility and opportunity to participate in these collective efforts.
As the third installment of our Staff Professional Development series, Sharing in Truth and Reconciliation, we will discuss how each and everyone can participate in Truth and Reconciliation with a particular focus on the importance of the Calls to Action for all Canadians as both professionals, and as individual citizens committed to justice and equality.
