The Professional Development & Community Engagement unit is happy to announce that the 2019 Summer Institute Proposal Form is now open. It can be found here: http://pdce.educ.ubc.ca/2019-institute-proposal-form.
This year, we are pleased to include an ‘Institute Planning Guide’, which is available as a downloadable PDF at the beginning of the form. This document provides you with an overview of the initial planning and approval phase of the Summer Institute process.
The proposal budget template can be found in the proposal form in the ‘Finances’ section. Please work with your departmental Administrative Manager on this portion of your proposal.
Please also be sure to obtain your Department Head’s approval for your Summer Institute before submitting your proposal and budget.
The deadline for proposal submissions is Friday, November 23rd. This will allow us ample time to work with you through the Finance and Infrastructure Committee (FIC) approval process and, if your proposal is approved, to begin marketing your Summer Institute.
