Event Description
In anticipation of the start of the Summer 2022 academic session, the office of the Associate Dean, Academic and Innovation, invites all Faculty of Education instructors to attend a free, online instructor orientation during which presenters will speak on:
- student well-being and creating inclusive, student-focused syllabi
- equity, inclusion and accessibility
- grading practices and trends at UBC
- promotion of academic integrity and approaches to suspected misconduct
- Canvas and instructional support available through Educational Technology Service
There will be time at the end of the session for questions and discussion.
Instructors who are supervising Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs) are invited to share this event with their GTAs, who are most welcome.
All attendees will be entered in a draw for two gift cards.
