- One year in January!
- Can you summarize what you do in the Faculty of Education?
- I manage all marketing and communications for PDCE. This includes all of our programming (cohorts, institutes, MOOCS, etc.) across a variety of platforms (like our website, social media, e-newsletter, paid promotions, etc.) I try to make it all look pretty and sound nice.
- What is your favorite thing about working at UBC?
- My awesome colleagues. Special shout-out to my partner in crime, Milena Constanda.
- What is one moment this past year that was truly memorable?
- Moving into staff and faculty housing in Wesbrook Village with my partner.
- What is your go-to karaoke song?
- Bed of Roses by Bon Jovi
- What is one interesting fact about you that people may not know?
- I’m born on a leap year so I’m actually turning 9 & ¾ in February!
- If you could travel anywhere in the world next week, where would you want to go?
- Toronto, Ontario to visit my best friend who recently lost someone close to her.
- If you could only watch one movie for the rest of your life, what would it be?
- San Andreas starring The Rock. Go ahead, judge me. I don’t care.
- How do you like to recharge after a week at work?
- Cuddles with my cats.
- If you could witness any historical event, what would you want to see?
- The civil rights movement of the 1960’s both in Canada and the US.
- What is your best dad joke?
- Two guys walk into a bar. The third one ducks.
- On your commute what are you most likely listening to?
- My own voice talking to my walking buddy.
- What kinds of hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?
- What is your most healthy habit?
- It’s a tie between prioritizing my sleep and drinking lots of water.
