My education has led me to be the chair of the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority and past chair of the UBCM Alumni Association. Inclusion is very important to me, personally and professionally. With friends and family, I embrace diversity and strive to be welcoming to all. On the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority board, I work to ensure all voices are included and heard.
Do you have any words of wisdom for current students? Newly graduated folks?
My words of wisdom for current students: be curious, embrace opportunity and trust yourself. My advice for new graduates: use your networks, do not be afraid to work at the bottom, do not expect to start at the top. Put in your time.
