Newly appointed managing editors Dr. Shannon Leddy (Métis Nation) and Dr. Johanna Sam (Tsilhqot’in Nation) are pleased to announce the return of the Canadian Journal of Native Education (CJNE) as an Open Access online journal. Fully digitized back issues from Volume 18.1 to Volume 41.1 (1991 to 2019) may be found here.
To celebrate this milestone achievement, the editors will be releasing a final hard copy of the journal, built around the theme “Calling on Knowledge Keepers: The Gifts of the Past, Present, and Future.” Please visit the journal website to view the Call For Papers Announcement, and to peruse previous editions of this important platform for Indigenous education in Canada and around the world.
