We are delighted to share that Dr. Annette Henry will be honoured with the Carol Crealock Memorial Award at the 2023 Canadian Society for the Study of Education conference on May 28, 2023.
This distinguished award, presented jointly by the Canadian Association for Educational Psychology (CAEP) and the Canadian Association for the Study of Women and Education (CASWE), recognizes a scholar who demonstrates a strong sense of justice and passion for equity and who embodies collegiality, support, and mentorship for new scholars.
Dr. Henry’s research and teaching in language, literacy and Black education, as well as her anti-racism scholarship and advocacy, have made a meaningful impact on the field of education in Canada and beyond.
The award will be presented during this year’s CSSE-SCÉÉ Plenary Address, Awards, and Reception on Sunday, May 28 at York University in Toronto.
