Congratulations to Dr. Carolyn McEwen, recipient of the 2023-24 Killam Teaching Prize
Dr. Carolyn McEwen has been honoured with a 2023/2024 Killam Teaching Prize. The Killam Teaching Prize is bestowed annually from the Killam Endowment Fund to faculty members nominated by students, colleagues, and alumni for excellence in teaching.
Dr. McEwen is recognized for her exceptional contributions to teaching, research, and service to the community. Her instructional practice focuses on research methods, statistics, and sport and exercise psychology. She aims to help students connect course content to their personal experiences and future aspirations, enabling them to apply their knowledge in real-world settings.
Dr. McEwen’s research focuses on athletes’ experiences with transitions and team selection processes.
