- Providing strategic oversight and support for academic programs offered by the Faculty
- Working closely with Associate Dean, Teacher Education, Associate Dean, Indigenous Education, Heads and Director, responsible for curriculum development, revision and innovation, overseeing the academic standards and program reviews and facilitating investigations of student misconduct
- Working closely with the Assistant Deans of Professional Development & Community Engagement (PDCE) to provide strategic oversight to the unit
- Working closely with the Program Directors to provide strategic oversight to faculty-wide graduate programs (e.g. ECED and MET), strategic leadership and advice to the Dean on faculty affairs and policy matters
