The UBC Volunteer Program has a number of volunteer postings available for all students to explore opportunities to get involved in their local communities. Below are two examples of current postings that are open:
Big Sisters of BCLM
- Description: A Big Sister mentor provides a supportive mentoring relationship to female, transgender, and non-binary children and youth (our Little Sisters) who who could benefit from the support and friendship of a mentor which contributes to their overall self-esteem.

Saint James Music Academy
- Description: Saint James Music Academy (SJMA) believes in the power of music to change lives. Music uplifts and inspires, and yet much more: it builds self-esteem in the learner, it teaches values, it binds people together in a shared objective, and it promotes positive social change.
