CBC featured an article discussing accessibility of sports to Indigenous youth. According to Rosalin Miles, a UBC research associate in Indigenous Studies in Kinesiology, there are hurdles that prevent Indigenous youth from participating in organized sports, particularly in remote communities. These hurdles include parental support, and transportation to practices.
