Workshop Description
Hosted by the Associate Dean Academic and Graduate Studies, this information session on Tri-Agency and Affiliated awards will provide resources for doctoral students* applying for funding through the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), as well as UBC Affiliated Fellowships.
Topics covered will include what makes an excellent program of study description as part of your proposal, what should be included in your description of your track record, and how to approach and interact with referees.

*Please note that this information session is intended for doctoral students of the Faculty of Education. An information session for master’s students will be held in October.
