The second annual Faculty of Education Staff Wellness Afternoon successfully took place on July 25, 2019! It was a gorgeous day, and a total of 61 staff from the various departments in the Faculty had a great time mingling and getting to know each other while taking part in the many different activities offered. The BBQ lunch was provided by Drew’s Catering (hello Matcha cookies!), and new activities this year included a bike tour (using UBC’s new HOPR bike share program), GreenHeart TreeWalk at UBC Botanical Garden, Poetry Workshop in Nitobe Garden, MOA tour, and Pop Queen Cardio Dance.
