Dr. Sandra Scott receives an NSERC PromoScience program grant

Dr. Scott's Intergenerational Landed Learning Project partners children with community gardeners, educators and scientists, to grow food and learn how environmental and agricultural sciences can improve the health of the planet and ourselves. NSERC’s PromoScience program grant will help fund the project to reach more schools and elementary children, more Indigenous youth, integrate Indigenous ways, knowledges, and traditions, and provide professional development, both face-to-face and virtually, for more educators, preparing them to bring an inclusive living science component to students in their schools.
