Her research harnesses methodology from clinical and counselling psychology, health psychology and public health to understand intersectional risk and resilience factors that contribute to the development of psychological distress in parents and children. UBC Faculty of Education’s online training course receives federal funding

On July 4, 2023, Parliamentary Secretary, Ya’ara Saks announced that UBC Faculty of Education is one of two recipients for project funding through the program. UBC Education is receiving funding for the project titled Professional Development for Early Learning and ELCC Workers Through an Indigenous-Early Childhood Education Massive Open Online Course. UBC launches early childhood education certificate program for Deaf and hard-of-hearing people
